Airing in India and the Middle East, Florence Pugh’s Nudity at Oppenheimer’s is Censored


India – The film made by Christopher Nolan, Oppenheimer has been shown in various countries. Having sex scenes to naked actors, apparently this part got censored.

Oppenheimer’s Nudity Censored

Launching from Variety, the intimate scene between Cillian Murphy, who plays J Robert Oppenheimer, and Florence Pugh as Jean Tatlock, received the spotlight.

Aired in India, the scene where Florence is naked is censored. In the unedited version of the film, Florence Pugh is shirtless as she talks to Murphy’s character in a hotel room.

However, in the film version playing in Indian and Middle Eastern cinemas, her body is covered in a computer-generated black dress, aka CGI.
