Oppenheimer Film Synopsis, The True Story of the Inventor of the Atomic Bomb who Develops Nuclear Weapons

Oppenheimer is based on the biography of Pulitzer Prize-winning American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, written by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, which was released in 2005.

Oppenheimer’s film will detail the life of the physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer (1904-1967). These range from his attempts to help the United States build an atomic bomb during World War II, to his inner turmoil as he faces the “moral consequences of scientific progress”.

Starting from J. Robert Oppenheimer was recruited in 1942 to the government’s Manhattan Project. There, Oppenheimer led the project to develop the world’s first atomic bomb. Since then he has been given the nickname “Father of the Atomic Bomb”.
